PKP PLK: – The railway line between Smolec and Sadowice (the Wrocław–Wałbrzych route) is now passable. After the work was completed and the railway infrastructure inspected, train traffic on one track resumed at 18:40. Once the train has been rerailed and the infrastructure inspected, traffic may also be restored on the second track.

PKP PLK:

Technical services of PLK SA are working to resume train traffic between Smolec and Sadowice (the Wrocław–Wałbrzych railway line). Specialist equipment is on site. The train is being rer ailed. The infrastructure can then be inspected and the necessary repairs carried out. According to preliminary estimates, the work may be completed and train traffic on one track resumed this evening.

PKP PLK reports:

At around 11:50, a Koleje Dolnośląskie train travelling from Wrocław Główny to Kudowa-Zdrój derailed between Smolec and Sadowice (the Wrocław–Zgorzelec railway line). None of the passengers or train crew were injured. There is no threat to the environment. Services are working at the site. The scene has been secured. Train traffic has been suspended. A commission will determine the cause of the incident.

It adds:

Train traffic on the second track can resume after the railway infrastructure has been inspected.

It further states:

Carriers were advised to launch replacement bus services. Passengers are being informed about changes to train services at stations and stops, as well as on trains. Current information is also available on the Portal Pasażera website and app.
