We received the following report from a Reader:
I am asking for intervention (...) regarding the construction of a bus “stop” in Nowa Kuźnia, at the intersection of the roads, at the so-called crossroads. This stop is at the county boundary, on the exit toward Polkowice County.
Previously, the bus stop in Nowa Kuźnia was located in a safe place, before the bend. However, as the reporter states: – The road workers cut it out, disregarding the development plans, etc.
He adds: – The District Roads Authority put up two signs at the intersection, right on the bend, on a double solid line and without any speed limits. It belongs in a road absurdities programme.
He also points out that the signs were placed “parallel to the road”, because “if they were perpendicular, lorries would flatten them”. He also stresses:
A circus on wheels, but it is becoming dangerous. Travelling from the direction of Pasternik, a speeding lorry will have difficulty braking if a bus full of passengers is standing behind the bend.
In a conversation with the istotne.pl website, the head of the District Roads Authority, Paweł Bednarski, announced that the signs in question would be dismantled and the bus stop itself would be relocated.
