Representatives of OSP units from the three counties that received funding promises attended the ceremony, held in Różyniec (Gromadka Municipality). Also present were, among others, Gromadka Municipality Head Ryszard Kawka, Bolesławiec Deputy County Head Mirosław Horzempa, delegations from PSP Bolesławiec and PSP Jelenia Góra, Brigadier General Marek Kamiński, Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Wrocław, Firefighter Jan Kasprzyk, Vice-President of the Provincial Board of the Volunteer Fire Service Association of the Republic of Poland in Lower Silesia, local government authorities from the municipalities whose OSP units received funding (Kamil Kowalski – Head of Janowice Wielkie Municipality, Edward Dudek – Head of Jeżów Sudecki Municipality, Marek Chrabąszcz – Mayor of Lubomierz Municipality), and parliamentarians from the region. The promises constitute part of the funding for the purchase of new vehicles. The new rescue and firefighting vehicles are to be delivered to the units by the end of this year.
Two units located in Gromadka Municipality received funding for the purchase of rescue and firefighting vehicles in Bolesławiec County:
- OSP Różyniec (PLN 1,250,000, for the purchase of a heavy rescue and firefighting vehicle),
- OSP Wierzbowa (PLN 950,000, for the purchase of a medium rescue and firefighting vehicle).
Funding promises were also awarded to Volunteer Fire Service units from Lwówek and Karkonosze counties:
Lwówek County:
- OSP Golejów (PLN 400,000, for the purchase of a light rescue and firefighting vehicle).
Karkonosze County:
- OSP Jeżów Sudecki (PLN 950,000, for the purchase of a medium rescue and firefighting vehicle),
- OSP Janowice Wielkie (PLN 950,000, for the purchase of a medium rescue and firefighting vehicle).
