On 29 March, the 2023 Transport Forum, organised by the Polish PKS Association, was held in Wałbrzych. The meeting was devoted to current challenges facing PKS companies. Cooperation between local governments and regional road transport was also discussed.
The forum was also an opportunity to present medals awarded by the Chapter of the Polish PKS Association. Those honoured with the “Meritorious for Public Transport of the Republic of Poland” medal included: director of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways Lidia Markowska, Opole Voivode Sławomir Kłosowski, Mayor of the City of Bolesławiec Piotr Roman, and Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak.
The “Meritorious Driver of the Republic of Poland” medals were awarded to two Bolesławiec PKS drivers: Edward Bacia and Tadeusz Kucharek.
