On Saturday, July 31, at around 8:30 p.m., the municipal police dispatcher received a report that a drunk man was kicking cars parked on Polna Street in Bolesławiec. The patrol immediately went to the scene. The vandal’s description was quickly established. The man was detained. Further proceedings in the case are being conducted by the Bolesławiec police.
On the same day, municipal police officers patrolling Gdańska Street noticed a group of men. One of them was shouting profanities. As it turned out, he had almost 3‰ of alcohol in his breath. Proceedings in the case are ongoing.
During the night of July 31 to August 1, a municipal police officer monitoring surveillance footage noticed a young man damaging an information kiosk installed in Bolesławiec’s Market Square. The officers went to the scene. While they were en route, they received a report that another person was relieving himself near the town hall. Both men were fined PLN 300.
That same night, also thanks to surveillance footage, municipal police officers detained a man who was damaging historic seals located on the walls of the Piast Gate. The vandal was hanging from the seals and attempted to place flower boxes from a beer garden in the Market Square on them. He was drunk when detained. He had more than 1.8‰ of alcohol in his breath.
