Thanks to the efforts of well-known football enthusiast and fan Sebastian Szabłowski, and with the support of GKS Raciborowice, a football camp for children and young people, FCS GKS VFL Bochum Camp 23, will be held at the GKS facilities at the end of June. The Bolesławiec-based Hotel Ibis Styles and Winestone Restaurant will serve as the accommodation and catering base.

One of the five Bundesliga stars who will work with Polish children during the camp is the legend of German football, 53-year-old Polish-born Dariusz Wosz. A former Bundesliga player and now a coach, he specializes in working with young footballers. His knowledge, experience and skills are extremely valuable.

In recent days, Dariusz Wosz visited Bolesławiec and Raciborowice, where he familiarized himself with the locations that will be used during the camp. The coach assessed them positively.

During the camp, Dariusz, as an experienced footballer and coach, wants to show the children what he himself learned in Poland and Germany. The coach does not rule out the possibility that a young football talent may be spotted among the participants, and he would like the camp to be an unforgettable adventure for the young footballers—one they will remember even many years later. During the sessions, he wants to focus, among other things, on technique, set pieces and discipline on the pitch.

Sebastian Szabłowski, the camp organizer, was asked where the idea for organizing it came from. He explained that he had previously attended a similar camp in Kraków with his children and decided to organize something similar himself. The camp is aimed at young footballers aged 5 to 18. Its concept is to combine sport with good fun.
