The incident occurred on March 17. Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
(…) at 12:30 p.m. we were dispatched urgently to a grass and shed fire in Ocice with a GCBA Jelcz unit.
The firefighters added:
Two water lines were used to attack the burning shed, while the grass fire was extinguished with beaters. Once the situation had been brought under control, the wooden structure was dismantled using demolition equipment in order to reach all sources of fire.
The operation, which lasted less than two hours, involved firefighters from Bolesławiec, Nowogrodziec and Ocice. Fortunately, no one was injured.
