Bolesławiec municipality:
The total value of the investment offered by the Contractor is PLN 3,049,000, and the contractual completion date for the modernization throughout the Municipality is 9 December 2023
The modernization of road lighting will primarily involve replacing 3,000 existing fixtures with fixtures equipped with LED modules, as well as replacing 84 control clocks in road-lighting cabinets and installing a control and management system for the modernized lighting.
In addition, as part of the project, the existing database of outdoor-lighting equipment in the GIS system will be updated, the numbering of lighting poles will be restored (in accordance with the previous sticker numbering), and an energy-efficiency audit of road-lighting equipment, squares and sports fields will be carried out.
Municipal officials: – The modernized road-lighting infrastructure will improve energy efficiency in all villages throughout the Municipality and, on a macro scale, reduce emissions into the atmosphere. As a result, the new lighting will also reduce operating costs and electricity consumption, while significantly improving the safety of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
The project received PLN 2,988,020 in funding from the Polish Deal Government Fund.
