Operating for many years, the Voluntary Labour Corps in Bolesławiec is eager to take part in initiatives for young people, as well as campaigns aimed at providing selfless support to those in need. Having established cooperation with the DKMS Foundation, an international non-profit organisation involved in combating blood cancers and other diseases of the hematopoietic system, the Bolesławiec Voluntary Labour Corps on 15 March is organising a Bone Marrow Donor Day at its headquarters, namely on the premises of the Construction School Complex in Bolesławiec.

The DKMS Foundation’s information leaflet states that “in Poland, someone learns every hour that they have leukaemia or another blood cancer. This diagnosis is heard by the parents of young children, young people and adults. Regardless of age, anyone can become ill.” Therefore, this selfless act of registration can restore health and save a life.

People who are at least 18 years old and have not yet turned 55 on the day of registration can register as potential bone marrow donors. Organisers:
