We received a report from a reader about inconveniences related to roadworks on Gdańska Street in Bolesławiec.

Hello. I have a request for a report on the roadworks being carried out on Gdańska Street. Today, while driving along Gdańska Street, I was surprised that the company laying the new pavement was occupying two traffic lanes and the sidewalk on the opposite side. After calling the municipal police, the officer on duty said that they had permission to occupy one traffic lane. Okay, but not two lanes and the sidewalk, and there should be traffic lights to enable alternating traffic.
On Friday afternoon, the road there was not completely blocked (cover photo), and traffic was moving continuously. Nevertheless, we asked the County Roads Authority for comment on the matter. It will be published as soon as we receive it.
