As PKP PLK reports:

During the night, technical services of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. discovered an attempt to steal components of the overhead line on two tracks along the Szczedrzykowice–Wielkie Piekary section (the Wrocław–Legnica railway line). A suspension of traffic was introduced. At the site, the services will precisely determine the extent of the damage and the scope of the necessary work that will allow traffic to resume. Until repairs are completed, changes to transport services are in effect. Koleje Dolnośląskie trains are organizing replacement bus services, while PKP IC trains are being rerouted via Rudna Gwizdanów and Lubin.

At 7:00 a.m., technical services of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. restored train traffic on one track along the Szczedrzykowice–Wielkie Piekary section (the Wrocław–Legnica railway line) following the overnight attempt to steal the overhead line. A network emergency team and a network maintenance train are working on repairs to the second track at the site. According to preliminary statements from the services at the site, scheduled train operations should be restored around noon.

Due to the restoration of train traffic on the railway line, Koleje Dolnośląskie are cancelling the replacement bus service, while PKP Intercity trains are running on the Wrocław–Legnica route without diversions. Timetable changes may amount to several minutes.

Company: – At 15:30, after completing the work and inspecting the overhead line, the technical services resumed train traffic on the second track along the Szczedrzykowice–Wielkie Piekary section. Thus, scheduled train traffic was restored on the line connecting Wrocław with Legnica following the overnight theft of the overhead line.
