The contractor for the project “Construction of a Municipal Waste Selective Collection Point in Nowogrodziec” will be BUDROMAX Tomasz Martynowski. The new PSZOK will be located at the site of the existing one, i.e. in Nowogrodziec at Strzelecka Street (by the wastewater treatment plant).
The investment includes:
- raising the ground level above the maximum elevation of the floodwater surface for a 1% flood risk;
- constructing a concrete-surfaced yard with a total area of approximately 1 230 m2, where containers for individual types of waste will be located, along with a connection to the existing roadway;
- constructing an educational path;
- placing an office and social facilities container;
- supplying and installing PSZOK equipment and furnishings;
- constructing a roofed and lockable utility storage facility and a hazardous waste storage facility;
- constructing a roofed shelter for containers;
- planting buffer vegetation along the boundary;
- constructing the remaining associated infrastructure: fencing the site with galvanized steel panels on the eastern side, including an entrance gate; fencing the site with concrete panels on the northern, southern and western sides; constructing a water-supply connection; installing site lighting and monitoring; constructing a sanitary sewer connection with an external sanitary sewer system; and constructing internal power-supply and telecommunications lines;
- supplying and installing a drive-over vehicle weighbridge.
Nowogrodziec Municipality: – The collection point will receive recyclable materials and enable the separate collection of waste in labeled containers placed in the yard and shelters, as well as on racks in the roofed bay.

The PSZOK will be intended for the separate collection of municipal waste by residents of Nowogrodziec municipality. Total investment value: PLN 1,845,000. Funding from the Government Polish Deal Fund: PLN 1,752,750.
