For more than a week, 105 Ukrainian soldiers have been training at the military unit in Świętoszów. They are primarily tank crews (21 crews), as well as military personnel responsible for logistical support.

The Ukrainians will undergo the same training as Polish soldiers, except that it will be much more intensive. The training that Polish soldiers complete in two months, the blue-and-yellow patriots will have to complete in one month. That is why they train six days a week, for 12 hours a day.

As Senior Warrant Officer Krzysztof Sieradzki, commander of the training support group at the Leopard training center of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów, explains, the Ukrainian military personnel want to know everything right away and ask about everything; the instructors practically have to restrain their enthusiasm.

What is more, our neighbors are delighted with the Leopard tank’s design solutions. For example, they were surprised that… there is so much space inside it.

Some of the tanks on which the guests of the Świętoszów brigade are training will be handed over to the Ukrainian army.
