Lower Silesia’s winter holidays at Polana Jakuszycka will be opened by the Winter Project town. Throughout the weekend (11–12 February), visitors can enjoy many attractions, including sports games and activities and competitions with prizes.
During the inaugural #NaPolanie weekend, you will also be able to meet triathlete Adrian Kostera, who will begin the #365triathlon challenge in Lower Silesia on 1 June 2023. The modern centre is an ideal solution both for those planning a longer holiday and for people looking for an opportunity to take a one-day trip outside the city. It is worth remembering that an alternative to travelling by car is using Koleje Dolnośląskie connections, allowing you to reach the facility by train along a scenic route, right to its entrance.
An equipment rental service, waxing facilities, instructors, spacious changing rooms with full sanitary facilities and kilometres of prepared cross-country ski trails of varying difficulty—all of this awaits both experienced skiers and those who are only just beginning to try cross-country skiing. A SPA area with a swimming pool and saunas is also available. We can replenish all the calories burned at the Bistro (first floor) and the Jakuszycka Restaurant, with its impressive view of the Jakuszyce panorama (third floor). The Lower Silesian Sports Centre also works well as a starting point for hiking trips and treks. If we choose to travel by car instead of by train, we can leave it in the underground car park and set off along a trail, for example to the Orle tourist station located in the heart of the Jizera Mountains, Chatka Górzystów, or use the specially prepared Winter Walking Routes.
