The eighth edition of the international “Innovation” competition, addressed to small and medium-sized enterprises based in the Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion and to students of higher-education institutions in this Euroregion, is under way. This year, the Polish side is coordinating the initiative. Awards will be presented in three categories:
- best innovation
- best cross-border cooperation (cooperation between enterprises)
- best student innovation
The winners of first place will receive €1,000 (in the best student innovation category – €500). Second-place winners will receive – €500 (students – €300), while winners of the third prize will receive – €200. Companies that win the competition will be promoted in the mass media and will be able to use the competition logo for a year. “Innovation is a very prestigious international award,” says Karol Stasik, head of the Bolesławiec Economic Association, which is co-organising this year’s edition of the competition. “That makes the glory all the greater for those who win.”
Entries may be submitted until 31 August. The results will be announced during a gala ceremony to be held on 15 October at the International Ceramics Centre in Bolesławiec. More information can be found on the websites of BTG and best-innovation.com.
The event is co-organised by: Bolesławiec County, Bolesławiec Economic Association, Federation of Employers of Western Poland and Ceramic Works “Bolesławiec”, which will fund statuettes for the winners.
