BKS Bolesławiec:
What a weekend it was! As part of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, together with you we organized a series of indoor tournaments, and the total amount collected during them – PLN 17,544.54 – is impressive. None of this would have been possible without you – supporters, volunteers, parents and sponsors. Once again, you have shown that the community gathered around BKS Bolesławiec has big hearts and can move mountains together!
BKS Bolesławiec President Michał Lis and the board thank everyone for helping organize the sixth edition of the BKS Bolesławiec plays for WOŚP tournament:
First of all, I would like to thank the youngest volunteers and players from the youngest age groups of clubs in our county, who competed for several hours to provide us with plenty of excitement while raising money for the WOŚP collection box. I would like to thank the Mayor of Bolesławiec, the Head of Gromadka Commune, the director of the school in Gromadka and Primary School No. 4 in Bolesławiec for making the halls available for the tournament. Thanks to the Gromadka Senior Club and the parents of children from the school in Gromadka for the delicious cakes, pierogi and pea soup. Thanks to the parents of children from our BKS Bolesławiec club for the baked goods—around 50 baking trays of cake were sold at the two halls in total. I would also like to thank the scouts from the Bolesławiec district for their logistical assistance, AFG Printing House for the posters and certificates, and the istotne.pl service for its media patronage. Thank you to the coaches involved in this worthy cause, and to the entire Bolesławiec WOŚP team led by Michał Szwed.
and adds:
Thanks also to BTS for rescheduling the league match on 28 January. This allowed us to hold the WOŚP tournament in the Primary School No. 1 hall. Perhaps the temporary postponement of the match contributed to BTS’s victory over the leaders (smile). Congratulations and best of luck in the league competition. We thank the volleyball supporters for the donations they made to WOŚP during the BTS match.
The BKS club once again thanks the donors who contributed to the entire undertaking. They were the following companies and institutions: Miasto Bolesławiec, Gmina Gromadka, Sztab WOŚP Bolesławiec, Techbol, Gerresheimer, Hufiec ZHP, AFG Drukarnia, Wędlindrobex, Młynpol, Klub Seniora Gromadka, Atlas Copco, Piekarnia Korczowscy, Grill Ale Bale.
