– The tournament in Złotoryja was a great experience – says the youth team coach Michał Warchoł. – We went to the tournament as the Cinderella, or at least that is how we were perceived. I am talking about the GKS Iwiny youth team, which I have the honour and pleasure of coaching. Górnik Złotoryja invited such teams as Iskra Kochlice, MKS Wołów, Chojnowianka and Oriens Chojnów, BKS Bolesławiec, Łużyce Lubań, Wilkowianka Wilków and Złotoryja II. The tournament provided plenty of excitement. From disappointment to euphoria. In the end, the favourites had to acknowledge our sporting superiority. The young players from GKS Iwiny showed character and proved that they are a team that wins the highest trophies – the coach adds.
