Officers from the Police Station in Szklarska Poręba identified and subsequently detained a 44-year-old resident of Karkonosze County suspected of theft. Police determined that the incident took place on the night of December 9–10 last year in one of the apartments in Szklarska Poręba. The victim invited the 44-year-old to her birthday party, and the woman robbed her after the party. She took a backpack containing cash and documents. The victim estimated her losses at nearly PLN 3,000.
The victim notified the Police about the crime, which she suspected the 44-year-old of committing. Based on the information gathered and an analysis of surveillance camera footage, officers confirmed that the woman in question had committed the act and charged her in the case.
Police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail and carrying out നടപടികൾ aimed at recovering the stolen property. The resident of Karkonosze County will now face court for the crime, for which she could face up to five years in prison.
