On Tuesday, at around 2:05 p.m., the municipal police duty officer in Jelenia Góra received a report that rubble was being dumped on a gravel road leading towards the embankments from Cieplicka Street.

SM:

Municipal police officers serving in the Cieplice area found a man at the reported location who was already finishing dumping the rubble. During the conversation, the man explained that he wanted to use rubble from renovation work to fill the potholes in the road and thereby level it.

The officers explain:

Unfortunately, this is an offence. Without the road administrator’s consent, detailed arrangements and the appropriate permits, rubble may not be dumped on the road arbitrarily.

They add:

The perpetrator, a 55-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra, was fined for the offence and ordered to remove the rubble from the road.
