The Boleslavia housing estate for seniors will be built on the grounds of St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec. A total of 132 apartments with full assistance and medical services will be prepared for people aged 60 and over. Social, living and—particularly important in this case—medical conditions will be provided.
As we read on the investor’s website:
Our investment is intended for older people looking for a safe and comfortable place to live. Seniors will be able to feel part of society, lead active lives and cope independently with various situations. They can go out and spend time as they would at home. Many older people appreciate this freedom. At the same time, they are provided with a roof over their heads, meals and medical assistance. They do not have to worry about anything. Everything they need is provided, allowing them to experience a second youth and enjoy carefree moments.
The activities planned as part of the Senior Housing Programme create an ideal environment and represent another stage of support for seniors, immediately after deinstitutionalized day care and before long-term or residential social care. Establishing this programme makes it possible to invest in a senior’s secure future based on the public and stable hospital system in Bolesławiec, guaranteeing high-quality services as well as the reliability and stability of the housing.
The idea itself was born during the coronavirus pandemic. People from all over Poland called the hospital, asking for care for their parents or relatives who had contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Construction of Boleslavia is scheduled to begin this year.
