Last year, we reported what Powiat Bolesławiecki would spend the money from the Polish Deal program on. One of the components of this road investment, worth several million złoty, is the modernization of Staszica Street.
The Staszica–Góralska intersection in Bolesławiec is one of the most accident-prone intersections in the entire City of Ceramics. Local residents say that there are sometimes road incidents there every week.
The good news is that, as part of the aforementioned project, the district plans to rebuild the intersection in question. What is the idea for making it safer? Traffic lights.
Whether this will actually happen, however, is not yet known. We will return to the topic.
