Strong winds are blowing in Bolesławiec and the surrounding region. It did not take long for the effects to appear. On Saturday, 31 December, the wind knocked down a tree onto the road between Krzyżowa and Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. Firefighters from OSP Krzyżowa were dispatched to remove the tree from the roadway.
The windy weather is expected to continue into New Year's Day (1 January). In gusts, the wind may reach speeds of up to 75 km/h.
