One of the items on the agenda of the December session of the Bolesławiec City Council was a vote on a draft resolution concerning the dismissal of the councillor from the position of Chair of the Economic Development and Finance Committee of the Bolesławiec City Council. The document’s justification states:
On 6 December 2022, the Councillors’ Club Bezpartyjni i Ziemia Bolesławiecka submitted a motion to dismiss councillor Dariusz Filistyński from the position of Chair of the Economic Development and Finance Committee of the Bolesławiec City Council. In view of the above, adopting the resolution in question is justified.
The head of the Bezpartyjni i Ziemia Bolesławiecka club, Łukasz Jaźwiec, argued that the motion mentioned was related solely to the fact that councillor D. Filistyński left the club in September.
The councillor concerned himself gave a statement in which he said that he perceived this action “as a political decision.”
Twelve councillors voted in favour. Most opposition councillors demonstratively did not take part in the vote. (No one voted against; one person abstained).
