A community refrigerator has been operating at the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Bolesławiec since 2018. Despite the crisis, it is filled almost every day by both the residents of the City of Ceramics and local businesses, including nearby bakeries.
It is also regularly emptied. Residents of Bolesławiec in need, homeless people and Ukrainian citizens—all of them have already got used to being able to come to the MOPS and have something to eat.
The aforementioned crisis has affected the people of Bolesławiec—there have recently been more people using the community refrigerator.
The refrigerator operates during the centre’s opening hours, but it will certainly be possible to use it several times before Christmas.
