As the municipal authorities report, the community center in Ocice is almost ready. Officials: – The work was carried out by TECH – BUD Barbara Sabadasz from Kruszyn. The project was completed on time, and acceptance procedures are currently underway. The total cost of the project was approximately PLN 400,000.

The project involved the reconstruction of the existing roof, namely the complete demolition of the existing wooden roof structure and roofing, together with all roofing equipment; the existing wooden ceiling and brick chimney were also demolished. Following the reconstruction, the building was raised through the construction of a reinforced-concrete ring beam, a new roof structure and a change (increase) in the roof pitch. New ceramic-tile roofing was installed, together with all new roofing details and gutters.
New roof-and-ceiling insulation was installed in the existing building, and the window and door joinery was replaced. The floors also gained a new appearance: the main hall received laminate flooring, while the remaining rooms were finished with porcelain tiles.
The walls and ceilings inside the rooms were painted after the surfaces had been prepared. Resin plaster was applied to the walls of the main hall, while the toilet and kitchen walls were covered with ceramic tiles.
The electrical and sanitary fittings were replaced throughout the building. The building also gained a new exterior appearance: the walls were insulated and new external plaster was applied.

The reconstruction of the building has improved working conditions during rehearsals and practice sessions of the OCICE Singing Group. In the rehearsal room, the municipal group will be able to prepare its performances in better conditions, while village residents will be able to socialize and increase their cultural and recreational activity.
When will the community center be available for use?
Municipality: – We hope that by the end of December residents will already be able to fully use the renovated facility.
