At 5:00 p.m., Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman and guests invited onto the stage offered their greetings to the people of Bolesławiec. Those extending their greetings included representatives of Bolesławiec County, Gmina Bolesławiec, the Youth City Council, Ukrainians living in Bolesławiec, the University of the Third Age and the City Council. Priests also offered their greetings. Meanwhile, scouts from the Bolesławiec ZHP Scout Troop presented the authorities and residents with the Bethlehem Light of Peace. People gathered in Bolesławiec market square also received Christmas wafers.

On behalf of all US troops stationed in Poland, Major General John Meyer, commander of the US Army’s 1st Infantry Division, offered greetings to the residents of the city of ceramics. The general presented Piotr Roman with a commemorative 1st Infantry Division US Army challenge coin. In return, he received a calendar featuring Bolesławiec ceramics. Later, the US military ensemble The Big Red One Band performed on stage.

12:00 p.m. – Concert by the BOK-MCC Vocal Workshop
12:30 p.m. – Christmas carol concert by the Cantate Deo Municipal Choir
1:00 p.m. – National Bandura Capella of Ukraine (Ukraine).
