Firefighters pulled the female dog out of the 5-meter shaft, and municipal guards took her to the aforementioned shelter, where the dog was examined by a veterinarian.
The facility:
Tola is emaciated, indicating that she must have spent several days in the shaft. She has a huge wound on the bridge of her nose, as well as wounds around her muzzle. According to the person who found her, the female dog must have had her muzzle wrapped in adhesive tape, which caused such a massive wound.
The shelter adds:
Despite the trauma she suffered, the female dog is cheerful and very friendly toward people. She has been placed under care, and we will do everything to ensure that she never suffers like this again!
Police are searching for the perpetrator. Reminder: abandoning an animal is treated as abuse, which is a crime punishable by up to five years in prison.
