In the economic zone in Bolesławiec, construction of the new headquarters of the State Fire Service has begun. As senior brigadier Andrzej Śliwowski, the district commander of our State Fire Service, emphasizes, the investment has begun “symbolically,” because so far only the water and sewage connection and large-scale site grading have been completed.

A more substantial tender will be announced in the first half of 2023. Only then will the actual construction work begin.

As senior brigadier A. Śliwowski emphasizes, the new headquarters of the Bolesławiec fire service will improve work ergonomics. In the new building, the rooms used by firefighters who respond to rescue operations on a daily basis will be located on the ground floor, a short distance from the garage area. This is intended to enable the uniformed personnel to leave as quickly as possible.

Moreover, the vehicle bays and garage doors will be adapted to the dimensions of new vehicles.

It will become clear in two or three years how much this project will cost. The initial cost estimate put the figure at PLN 28 million.
