The first St Nicholas Day spent together in the magical atmosphere of #NaPolanie. Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 12:00 to 16:00.
On the biathlon stadium grounds, fire pits will be set up where visitors can roast sausages themselves. Weather permitting, there will also be a snowball-throwing and snow-sculpting competition. Outdoor activities for the youngest visitors are planned, including dancing together and competitions.
Everyone interested will be able to take part in a family relay race – the St Nicholas Day relay, led by Robert Maćkowiak, an accomplished 400-metre runner, Olympian and former world relay champion.
Inside the Lower Silesian Sports Centre, there will be Christmas arts and crafts workshops and competitions with prizes. There will also be a Santa’s sleigh ride simulator, an opportunity to try laser shooting with biathlon equipment, and a climbing wall supervised by an instructor.
Visitors will be able to buy baubles and honey on site, and stalls selling mulled wine and tea will be set up.
Santa Claus and his elves will be visiting throughout the event. The celebration will end with the lighting of a several-metre-tall Christmas tree, which will stand directly in front of the Lower Silesian Sports Centre.
The fun will begin at noon and last until around 4:30 p.m. Participation in the activities is free and does not require prior registration.
