A reader wrote to us on 28 November:
Why were the roads in Warta municipality not gritted at 6 this morning? I only passed through Iwiny, and the roads there were nicely covered with sand.
He added:
Another issue is why [służby] are they not gritting the roads? This concerns the bypass, in the direction of Jelenia Góra, and the exit section from Bolesławiec, in the direction of Łaziska, via the bypass roundabout. At 6 this morning, it was like a sheet of ice…
We appeal to the services responsible for the aforementioned sections to take action.
