On Monday, June 21, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade and the Polish Red Cross in Bolesławiec. The agreement, signed by Colonel Jarosław Kraszewski, commander of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade, and Adam Fornal, president of the District Board of the Polish Red Cross in Bolesławiec, is intended, among other things, to promote knowledge of international humanitarian law applicable to armed conflicts and provide education in first aid.
Specialists from the Polish Red Cross will organize training in international humanitarian law, while the Brigade will support the implementation of the statutory objectives of the Polish Red Cross serving the defense and security of citizens.
Providing information and education to soldiers and civilian military employees will contribute both to popularizing knowledge about humanitarian law and first aid and to promoting voluntary blood donation and a safe lifestyle.
