Reports of the tragedy in Przewodów, in Hrubieszów County, have been confirmed. Two men were killed: a foreman employed on a farm and a tractor driver. President Andrzej Duda said that the rocket was probably Russian-made.
The National Security Council will meet at 12:00.
The Associated Press, citing information from three U.S. officials, reports that the rocket that fell on Przewodów was launched from Ukraine toward an incoming Russian missile.
The combat readiness of some military units across the country has been raised.
