On Tuesday, November 15, in the afternoon, an explosion occurred in the village of Przewodów in Hrubieszów County, as a result of which two Polish citizens were killed. Government spokesman Piotr Müller [stated that] Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki had urgently convened the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defence Affairs. He also asked people not to publish unconfirmed information. Official information is to be released after the meeting convened for 9:00 p.m.

Polskie Radio Lublin reported that two people were killed in a tractor explosion in the village of Przewodów in Hrubieszów County. The incident occurred on the premises of a grain dryer at around 3:40 p.m. The cause of the incident remains unknown. Senior Captain Marcin Lebiedowicz, spokesperson for the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Hrubieszów, confirms that the incident took place and that two people died at the scene. The site is currently being examined.

According to the latest findings, a missile from the Ukrainian air defence system probably fell on Polish territory. It had been launched in defence against Tuesday’s massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine. It was therefore likely an unfortunate accident.
