As the Bolesławiec Museum reports:
Due to preparations for changing the location of the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec, it is changing the way it operates. The exhibitions of the Department of Ceramics and the Department of the History of the City will soon be closed to visitors. The Department of Ceramics can be visited through 20 November 2022, inclusive, while the Department of the History of the City will be open through 6 November 2022, inclusive.
Museum staff emphasize, however:
Despite the closure of the Museum of Ceramics’ exhibitions, it will continue to offer guided tours of the city and workshops for organized groups at the Tourist Information Point (Rynek 19/21). We are also preparing an attractive educational program to be conducted in schools and preschools. We will also continue providing archaeological and publishing services.
They add:
We apologize for the inconvenience to everyone interested in visiting the museum in Bolesławiec. The measures we are taking are intended not only to create a new, attractive multimedia exhibition, which we will make available in the Pückler Palace on Zgorzelecka Street. We are about to begin work related to changing the function of the current Department of the History of the City building, which will be transformed into a center for historic pottery techniques, offering educational activities devoted to the production of Bolesławiec stoneware.
