The incident occurred during the night of June 11–12 in Bolesławiec. At around 3:45 a.m., a 29-year-old man fell from the second floor of a building on Karola Miarki Street. The man, who suffered serious injuries, was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec and then to Zielona Góra.

Initial findings indicate that it was most likely an unfortunate accident. There were no signs of a struggle at the scene, and the police called to the scene had to wake the residents because they were asleep when the incident occurred.

The injured man probably suffers from epilepsy, which may have caused him to fall out of the window.

A prosecutor was present at the scene. The District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec is currently conducting an explanatory investigation into the matter.
