Parents of children who use the playground by the Community House contacted us. The area is regularly contaminated with dog excrement, as dogs relieve themselves there. We remind you that dog owners are legally required to walk their dogs on a leash, and that dogs are prohibited from entering public-use facilities, as well as playgrounds, sandpits, lawns and flower beds.
We have returned to the issue of dog waste many times in our coverage. It may therefore be worth reminding everyone once again that this type of waste can pose a real threat, especially to the health of young children. Let’s bear this in mind.
