On 24 October, a ceremony was held in Węgliniec during which representatives of Volunteer Fire Brigades from the Bolesławiec, Lubań, Lwówek and Zgorzelec counties were presented with targeted grants. Volunteer firefighters from Trzebień:

The funds were awarded by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration as part of a grant for the public task entitled “Preparing Volunteer Fire Brigade units for rescue and firefighting operations”.
