The issue of rats in Bolesławiec keeps coming back like a boomerang. Let us remind you. In September last year, a Reader wrote to us:
The matter of rats on Podgórna Street. Today I noticed considerable activity from these rodents. They are running along the street and on the pavements beneath the apartment blocks.
And added:
Is the city taking any preventive measures to limit their population? As is widely known, poison in basements is effective only once—the rat learns quickly. If one dies, the rest will not touch it.
As we managed to establish at the time, the municipal services regularly commission deratization. However, it appears that getting rid of these rodents is not so easy. What do you think?
