“Fryderyk Chopin worked in the Romantic era, which advocated the synthesis of art and the need for correspondence between all fields of art,” said during the concert Artur Bielecki, a musicologist, journalist and music critic. “Musicians influenced painters, poets inspired composers. The latter drew on wonderful poetic texts, while masters of the word were very eager to write about music. Heinrich Heine once called Chopin a poet of sounds.”

The concert concluded with a performance by a group consisting of: Aleksandra Sozańska-Kut, Krzysztof Palmowski, Anna Roman, Krzysztof Lewandowski and Michał Druzgała. The musicians performed two Chopin preludes in an excellent jazz arrangement.
