On the tuwroclaw.com website, a list of the 10 poorest municipalities in Lower Silesia was published. The portal reports:

Barely PLN 5,000 per year per resident has to be enough for the poorest municipalities in Lower Silesia to make ends meet.

Nowogrodziec came seventh on this list:

The town is becoming more beautiful, especially in the center. But there is still a lot of work ahead, which, with an income of PLN 5,181.77 per resident, is certainly not easy.

The authors of the cited article emphasize that the data on the income of Lower Silesian municipalities per resident “come from the Local Data Bank maintained by Statistics Poland and concern 2021 (data for 2022 are not yet available because municipalities may still change entries in their budgets, adapting them to the current situation).”
