We would also like to express our immense gratitude to Ms Anna Tarnachowicz for preparing and assessing the first-aid tasks and organizing a demonstration of professional first aid.
Since the establishment of the Municipal Police in Bolesławiec, the competition has held an important place in the annual schedule of educational events. Unfortunately, the pandemic made it impossible to hold it, so we are extremely pleased that we were able to organize it this year. The prizes for the winning teams were funded by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman, who also assumed honorary patronage of the entire project.
Traditionally, teams from fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade primary-school classes took part in the competition. A total of 17 teams participated. The competition covers a range of issues related to broadly understood safety, particularly road safety, as well as topics connected with safe recreation for young people during summer holidays, winter breaks and mountain trips, and principles of providing first aid.
