Kolonia Bolesławiec hosted LZS Ocice on Sunday (25 September) at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street. The match was played at the municipal stadium because the Kolonia Bolesławiec pitch had been damaged and there had not yet been enough time to repair it.
Sunday’s clash between the leading teams of Group III of the A-class competition was not much of a spectacle, at least in the first half. Shots were few and far between, while most of the play took place in the middle of the pitch. Only towards the end of the first 45 minutes did Kolonia slightly increase the tempo and threaten the Ocice goal twice.
There were more scoring chances in the second half. Kolonia attacked more often and more dangerously, but Ocice also had a chance to score. The match was decided in the 60th minute, however. That was when Michał Kozioł, with a header, beat the Ocice goalkeeper and put Kolonia ahead, a lead it retained until the end of the match. Kolonia Bolesławiec – LKS Ocice 1:0 (0:0).
