On Thursday, 22 September, a hearing was held before the District Court in Zgorzelec concerning a request to postpone serving a prison sentence submitted by convicted man Piotr M., a former priest from nearby Ruszów. The court rejected M.’s request, finding that there were no contraindications to the former clergyman serving his sentence in prison.
Is this the end of the case? Unfortunately not. The decision is not final. The convicted man may still file an appeal against it.
