On Saturday (10 September), at approximately 8:30 a.m., a road incident occurred on provincial road no. 296, between Godzieszów and Henryków Lubański. As reported by eluban.pl:
While overtaking, the driver of a tow truck carrying an off-road vehicle lost control of the vehicle. As a result, one person was taken to hospital.
(...) As the tow truck driver explained, while travelling from the direction of Lubań, he began overtaking a passenger Opel. At one point, the car began swerving from side to side, and the vehicle carrying the off-road vehicle scraped the passenger car, pushing it into a ditch. Despite his attempts, the tow truck driver was unable to regain control of the vehicle.
A person travelling in the tow truck was taken to hospital. Preliminary information indicates that they sustained minor injuries. The people travelling in the Opel were not injured. The incident occurred in Bolesławiec County, near the border with Lubań County. Firefighters from Lubań and Bolesławiec, a medical rescue team from Lubań and the police were present at the scene.
