– Police officers from Bolesławiec, as a result of operational activities, identified suspects in the burglary involving the theft of two electric bicycles – reports Staff Sergeant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer for the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
She adds: – The perpetrators took advantage of the moment when the victims, travelling in a camper van, stopped for a meal in Bolesławiec County, leaving the vehicle with the bicycles attached to it. The suspects cut through the steel cable and stole the bicycles, worth PLN 20,000.
The arrested men are residents of Gromadka Municipality, aged 27 and 28. The first, a 27-year-old, was apprehended by Bolesławiec officers two days after the incident. Shortly before his arrest, the suspect was sitting in a parked car, where one bicycle originating from the crime was found.
The second bicycle was recovered when the older suspect was arrested. He was... riding the aforementioned vehicle at the time.
The spokesperson said: – The men were charged and gave explanations.

Burglary is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
