The incident occurred during the night from Saturday to Sunday. A fire detector was triggered at the Ibis Hotel on Asnyka Street in Bolesławiec.

Thirty-three people were evacuated in the middle of the night.

Firefighters thoroughly inspected the building. It turned out that someone had probably smoked a cigarette in one of the rooms.

The police were called to the scene, and the guests were able to return to their rooms.
