On Wednesday (May 26), BKS senior players played an away match against Lechia Dzierżoniów. The hosts are already almost certain of promotion to the third league. In the match against BKS, they confirmed that their second place in the table was no accident. Lechia defeated BKS 2–0. The goals for the home side were scored by: Mateusz Kuriata from the penalty spot and Łukasz Deneka. BKS have been playing very poorly in the spring round. Another defeat brought our team closer to the relegation zone. According to the DZPN Senior Competition Regulations, “teams that finish in 13th, 14th, 15th or 16th place are relegated to the appropriate regional divisions.” With 29 points, BKS are 10th in the competition table. Karkonosze Jelenia Góra have two fewer points. GKS Kobierzyce and Polonia Środa Śląska have collected 25 points. The bottom two teams are Chojnowianka Chojnów (18 points) and Ślęza II Wrocław (15 points).
Our players still have five matches to play. Leszek Dulat remains the coach. If BKS finally fail to start winning, the threat of relegation will become real. On June 2, our team will host GKS Kobierzyce.
