The incident occurred on 20 August. Volunteer firefighters from Krzyżowa:
(…) at 3:24 p.m. we were dispatched to a flooded residential building in Kraśnik Górny. Upon the arrival of our unit, additional Forces and Resources were requested, as water was still flowing into the building from the fields, where the water level had already reached over 1 m.
They also add:
The task of the units was to pump water out of the building and the property, as well as secure the area using sandbags.
Firefighters from Krzyżowa, Trzebień and Brzeźnik took part in the operation.
