– Officers of the Customs and Tax Service from Legnica inspected an entrepreneur where, in April this year, they had discovered e-cigarette liquids without excise stamps. The subsequent inspection revealed that the company had 1,698 packages without excise stamps – reports Sebastian Polański, senior specialist at the Communications Department of the Lower Silesian Revenue Administration Chamber in Wrocław.
He adds:
The seized goods have been secured for criminal and fiscal proceedings. Some of them will undergo laboratory testing to determine whether they contain prohibited substances in e-cigarette liquids.

We remind you that, since 1 May 2021, e-cigarette liquids and novel products without excise stamps may no longer be present in commercial circulation. People who possessed such products without excise stamps on 1 May 2021 and still wish to sell them should withdraw them from sale and legalise them by applying legalisation tax stamps.
Liquids that do not contain nicotine but are used in e-cigarettes are also subject to excise tax and must bear excise stamps. For legal products intended for use in e-cigarettes, the entire production process, composition and quality are monitored by the relevant services.
