We have already reported in these pages that Ryszard Kawka, the former chairman of the Bolesławiec County Council, became the new head of Gromadka Municipality. Who will take his place on the aforementioned council?
The seat on the Bolesławiec County Council will be taken by a person from the Non-Party Local Government Officials list who achieved the second-best result in the 2018 local elections in the fourth district. That person is Leokadia Krawiecka, a resident of Wierzbowa and the current head of the Gromadka Municipal Social Welfare Centre based in Wierzbowa. L. Krawiecka received 209 votes in the most recent local elections.
The incoming councillor has been associated with the Gromadka local government for 41 years and has headed its Social Welfare Centre for 23 years.
Who, in turn, will become the new chairman of the Bolesławiec County Council? As we have been told, arrangements on this matter are under way.
